A B2C marketplace built for the Beninese consumer — MTN and Moneroo payments integrated from day one, mobile-first interface, zero friction at checkout.

The problem

Beninese online sellers were losing customers at checkout for lack of local payment options. Existing solutions require a Visa card most buyers don't have.

What was built

A full marketplace with a seller catalog, order management and native mobile-money payments (MTN via Moneroo). Real-time merchant dashboard. Built on Next.js 15 and Convex for instant updates with no reload.

Impact

Live in production at pixel-mart-bj.com. Benin's first marketplace to accept MTN Mobile Money natively at checkout.
